if you're worried, pop your SIM out until you get the pay as you go... W/o a SIM the phone basically CAN'T do anything that would cost you money w/o you knowing.

But LAX does have AT&T wifi in the terminal. If you watch an ad you get an hour for free at the moment. I am 2 minutes down the road. Bummer that I had forgotten he was coming in

Well I made it to DC. Sorry I missed you over there Jamie. Took me 26 hours from when I boarded the plane in Sydney to get here and I didn't sleep through any of it. My Friday 3rd lasted 39 hours straight. Boo jetlag

I'm not an easy sleeper and no way could I sleep sitting. Well I saw the white house and smithsonian American history and natural history today and walked the mall. Great to see all these icons of the US.

Ok Samuel Adams octoberfest beer isn't too bad.

I like wings and blue cheese sauce with beer and football. Driving sucks as I feel so uncomfortable on the wrong side of the car. Guess I will get used to it and actually use the blinkers to indicate instead of the wipers. No arrest yet.. Battled with the hotel and last minute.com because the booking screwed up and the hotel got 2 bookings and I wasnt paying for 2, yet lastminute only had record of one as did I. Looked at lots of water and rocks then got wet. I'm in Canadiaiaia now.
