    Default  $25,000 Holga

Yep, you read that correctly. $25k. Holga.

Okay, it's actually a regular Holga with a PhaseOne back shoehorned onto it, and it's not mine, but I figured it was worth sharing the link anyway.

huh...the images look the same as my refurbished xti with a $30 Holga lens cap and neither of the setups actually capture what a real cheap ass holga does.

Have you looked at any of the large format digital bodies out there? $25K is about the middle of the road...

    The camera is built from:
    1 - Holga 120N camera body (retail: $25)
    1 - Phase One P25 Digital Back (retail: $24,000)
1 - Horseman lens board (thus the current name)
1 - Foot of Black Gaff Tape

    56 Megapixels of BLUR!

I run into this sort of thinking all the time on microscope imaging... people who want a 15mp+ sensor on a microscope to capture images at ~600x. People are so dumb... at 600x there's absolutely no point in that, because the limiting factor is the optics, not the camera. They're just splitting up the blur into more and more pixels, apparently because the Canon/Nikon/Sony/Pentax/etc marketing told them it was SO MUCH BETTER LOOKIN' WITH MORE MEGGER PIXELS! MORE!
