Just read this recent review on DP, seems like a nice, albeit slightly bulkier competitor to the Lumix LX3, like the specs from what I've read, what do ppl think

Also are Schneider Kruznack lenses really all that special, or is it more marketing gimmickery like the C-Z and Leica made compact P&S lenses.

looking at dpreviews noise tests it doesn't look bad IQ wise, but the LX3 is already big for that segment, why not go with a MFT option if the size isn't a concern? And if size is a concern, to me at least, the s90/s95 is the winner in that segment?

Yeah Im more curious about performance/IQ than size/compactness issues. I didn't think Samsung would come out with an advanced compact with desirable specs like that. The f1.8 on the wide end is a nice touch too.

This one from Samsung is indeed a good one. It does have some good features and to my surprise this one is sure to find some place among the top ones even though Samsung hasn't been rated among the top one in this field of electronics. I have been looking forward to give it a try as a friend of mine would be getting it by the next weekend.
