I just want to say that The Life Aquatic was the Wes Anderson movie that totally turned me off of Wes Anderson (until I saw The Fantastic Mr. Fox, anyway)... but I like the title, anyway.

Yeah, it's out and its good. It's quirky in that Wes Anderson way, but for whatever reason it works.

Yup. We saw it on BD Netflix. It was.....strange. The kids liked it, though.

I saw Rushmore and didn't like it. I saw The Royal Tenenbaums, and didn't like that either. The Life Aquatic was the first Wes Anderson movie I actually enjoyed.

See, I am the opposite... I liked those two, and Life Aquatic was the turning point for the worse (for me). Sounds like we have dissimilar tastes in movies?

I have an aquarium with a variety of colorful fish, but I'm thinking about going in a different direction... there is a rather large lake near my house, maybe I can find some "life" over there.

In what journalists are sure to hail as an internet first, Kilonad and Markitos civilly agreed to disagree on a topic in an online discussion forum.

You've got some dust on your sensor.

Seriously though, nice job. I used to be in love with Tmax, but that was a long time ago.

You should have shot a myth instead of a moth. You know, a myth is a female moth.

Shot mine during some downtime at work today with my new point and shoot. I'm sure I could've shot something better with my D200, but I wanted to see what I could pull off with my S90 that I couldn't with a DSLR.
