Challenge #30 September 1st-30th- Discussion

The Challenge Theme is: "Silhouette"

Objective: Take a photo within the time frame of this Challenge that best portrays the theme above. One entry per user.


Overview of Monthly Challenge Rules are as follows:

- All Photograph entries MUST be taken within the month of the Challenge.
- Photographs submitted MUST be ORIGINAL work by the Submitter.
- ONLY ONE Photograph may be entered by the participant, Once entered it may not be changed.
- All Themes are open to interpretation (Within reason; inappropriate, crude content will be removed)
- All photographs may be altered in any way seen fit by the photographer.
- The following EXIF data MUST be posted with entry : Camera Body, ISO, shutter, F-Stop, Camera Mode, Date/ Time, PP Software Used if applicable.
- No nudity, illegal activity, implied illegal activity, or anything else that would normally not be allowed in this forum should be posted. (Nudity belongs in the "Nudes" Section. This is a SFW area)
-The Challenge thread is for posting photos ONLY, please no discussion of photos within the main thread. Have questions, comments, concerns? Please post them in the Discussion Thread.

adrenaline was the only drug I could come up with and I couldn't come up with a good shot, especially not in the summer.

Nice theme, I bet there will be a lot of quality entries this month.

i have a shot that would have worked but is from july. ill share it to inspire me to do one for the contest this month

Is everybody getting in early this month? ...or are we going to have huge participation this time? I'm excited to see, there are already some very good entries and we still have 2/3 of the month to go!

I just did it early so I wouldn't forget.

I would have if the battery in the XTi didn't die before I went to the museum... hopefully the other battery and charger will arrive today, and I can get back to business. I've actually really been enjoying using the XTi and kit lens so far.

i added mine yesterday, never participated in a challenge before.

yep, I think the suggestions thread about getting more people involved help make it fresh in everyone's mind AND a killer topic that ANYONE can do makes it work. We need to make sure topics/subjects stay "open" like this...

Thanks I have taken a few different things during the month but just never felt happy with them, then yesterday this little guy scurried across the living room floor.

I'm leaving this open to submissions until Sunday, Oct 3rd. The shot must have been taken in September, but you'll at least have the weekend to get it processed and posted.

Kiki, let me know if you need help with the poll since there are ~25 entries. I can resize and host the shots on the blog and put them IN the poll like I do SotM if you like.
