I'm getting this error when I try to activate my NextGEN gallery on www.jayluikart.com. I'm on 1and1 for hosting and crap. Any tips?

I'd bet Ken's right though, with the new version of WP and NG out, you're probably not going in the right order?

WP was upgraded the first week of Aug, I think I'm on 3.01.

Does NextGen need it's own database configured somewhere? I didn't do that if it does. Directions online don't make it look like that's needed though.

it uses your normal WP db.

WP is on 3.02 now though I think?

I don't see any new version available message if that makes a difference, and I am on 3.01 (just re-checked).

nice save Jay. And yeah, I double checked, 3.01 is the most recent. I must have been thinking about iPhone firmwares?

1and1 sucks though, I'd transfer out of that ****hole when your next contract is up.

I don't even know when it's due, how tough is it to switch over?

Ben, I made a gallery 'page' but the grid is only like 4 pictures wide, I'm not seeing a way to display more thumbs wide unless it's in the gallery style sheet?

I have no clue, my gallery page is handwritten in HTML in the WP page slug because I don't like the way nextgen does theirs.

OK, I'll have to play around with it when I get time.

It does have a slideshow that seems to look pretty decent, at least on my IE7 work machine. It'll get the job done for the wedding clients I've uploaded.

And a correction, it's only 3 pictures wide. Makes zero sense why it'd be so few to me.
