Thought it might be easier to create the 4 sections now. Kick my arse if I'm wrong.

Rules:

* in order to win ANY CATEGORY, you must submit a photo IN EACH CATEGORY!
* winners of each section will be chose by a poll
* to be considered for the overall you MUST submit a photo for each of the 4 categories
* the categories are intentionally vague, anything goes, but voters should vote how THEY think that category should be interpreted.
* you should try to submit one image for each of the Mondays left in May (10th 17th 24th and 31st).
* ALL photos need to be submitted no later than midnight on the 31st of May 2010 EST (my timezone, aka the forum's official timezone)
* all images must be shot between 5.5.2010 (in your timezone) and 5.31.2010 24:00:00 EST.
* Leave exif intact!
* when you submit your image, make sure you tell us which category it's for.
* all submissions will be in this thread
* let the hilarity ensue!!!!!

I NEVER shoot portraits. The last thing we did before we blew out of town on Friday was pick up Scottie's dress from the bridal store. I asked her before we left "Don't you want to leave your dress here so you don't get it dirty on our trip?" "No Way. I am NOT leaving my dress here...." Ok...

So, 24 hours later, after waking up at 5:00 am to catch sunrise in arches, riding in the car all day, and hiking to several of the ruins I have already posted on here, we are in monument valley. 1/2 jokingly I say to her, "You have your dress, don't you want me to shoot your dress pic?" "No. I am not getting my dress dirty on this red dirt." "Ok".

So I'm standing around, taking a few random shots, waiting for the light to get good, and the most beautiful woman I have ever seen walks up to me and says, "Ok, are you ready?" She had changed into her dress in the car in front of God and the world. 3 mins later, this is what we had. I litterly shot only 12 frames to catch this. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.



We're getting married June 12. I'm the luckiest man alive....

nice, I'm guessing you guys don't believe in the bad luck to see the bride/dress before the wedding thing then right?
