They definitely honor them, it's 4 per from there on out too, Shawn. I believe at least.
And, I was pumped to see this... submitted the shot and an hour later it was up on the site!

^ yeah, I was thinking the only thing that photo is missing is an Elise or a Porsche.

that would be an awesome night shot with a prolonged exposure as said Elise or Porsche ran it.

Today's shot, while beautiful, demonstrates what happens when you don't properly use your ND grad filter--there is no detail left in the closer mountains.
Ruins a majestic shot, IMO, and I'm generally pretty pro-grad ND.

Websense is now blocking earthshots.org.
This is why I don't post as much as I used to in Sharing/POTD.

i like tad's colors and the motion of the leaves in the water, but my eyes have no idea where to go. they just zoom all over the place. scott's has a nice path through the photo.
at least, that's what i think my subconscious is thinking ... i just like scott's better :-)

"The star tracks remain visible in the lake due to the mirroring effect of tracking in the opposite direction. Equipment: Canon 20D, Canon 10-22mm, f/3.5, static and dynamic exposure of 6 min, ISO 1600, tripod, AstroTrac TT320 digital astronomical mount"
Basically this guy is stating it is not a double exposure merge, but then says static and dynamic exposure. It has to be a merge, right?
