i might have to swing by REI this weekend and check out those shoes... that Boa thing sounds hot, and I loved my old Vasque hiking boots.

I'm not sure boa has a huge savings on tying your shoes though? Not sure if snowboard boots were the original application, but that seems like an ideal fit... You have to tie snowboard boots on tight and you do it in the cold, so anything to help there is awesome. It's also a lot of lacing to get your foot in and out. But shoes? How long does it take to tie your shoes?

How long does it take to untie, adjust, and then retie your shoes? Also, it's the even pressure I'm interested in. Consider it a curiosity thing.

yeah, I'm curious to see how you like them is all and if it's a nice thing for sneakers. For snowboarding boots it's a few minutes to adjust, and you ALWAYS have to put them on, tie them, take a few runs, then tighten them. To be able to just reach down and dial that second bit on is HUGE...

outlet sale dude, they're not available there... I really want those boots too but the price is what's killing me. I should have picked them up with my 20% off coupon 2 weekends ago but didn't think of it then. I now have a busted seam in my keens so they leak.

Just scooped these up. I needed some light hiking/shooting shoes.
$33 shipped they get awesome reviews all over the net and with some mink oil they are pretty well waterproofed.

Just bought a Crumpler laptop bag from BackcountryOutlet for a C-note!! Coulda saved $20. Now I gotta figure whether it's worth shipping costs to return the one and reorder from REI. Might drop the savings to only a couple bucks and a big hassle.
