Its time to put a few basic rules in place for this forum... please read this before posting.

IMAGE POSTING:

# of Images Per Thread: For now, please keep the number of shots within the thread at 10 or less. Preferably much less since this is the Critique forum and the more you post, the harder it is to critique. We suggest posting no more than 3 for critique at a time (unless they are a collection) so that critiquing will be easier for readers. Please number your photographs as well as it helps people refer to each image in a simple and consistent way.

Image Size: Since we all have different monitor and resolution settings, limit the longest side of an image posting to 800 pixels. If you want to post a pano, please link to a larger version rather than posting it in the thread.

No personal comments about models or photographers. Discussion about models should be limited to skills involved such as posing, makeup, expression, etc.

DO NOT: Post anything with an obviously illegal activity, overly violent, etc. type of image within it. Use good judgment. I can't imagine this being too much of an issue. If you'd like to post something with nudity in it, please take it to the "Nudes" section. If you have more than 10 posts, you will be able to see it.

CRITIQUING:

This is a friendly forum, any offensive/overly critical comments won't be tolerated. Be honest with your critique but don't go overboard. Its a good idea to look at the image posted, judge the poster's skill/experience, and base your critique off of that.

If you have something you think might be of use to someone else's thread in this section, please ask for their permission. This includes modification of their original work.

We have had a rash of critiquing in the sharing forum, often in threads that don't solicit it. I am bumping the rules threads for both forums so that everyone has fair warning and isn't surprised when I or another moderator starts handing out warnings or points.
