    Well, I designed them fairly simple to make. I did this so that costs could be kept low. Also, the more complex a part is, the more likely it is to fail. That's why I mill these out of 100% billet aluminum. They are lightweight, and VERY sturdy.

    I like the "simplicity" of the design, personally. Less stuff to break. I'd really like to see it in action.

    yes. were playing with the spider setup. that thing is DANG heavy. i see zero reason why that thing should be a cast steel part. hell i think it weighs almost as much as the GF1. Why didnt they do a cast magnesium. I really like the simplicity of your setup Brian.
