Like the title says. I'm looking for some DIY reflective silver fabric like you find on umbrellas and such.

Anyone know where I can get this stuff?

Now, if somebody else helps you, is it really 'do it yourself'? Or more like 'do it with help'?

On a more helpful note, try space blankets at an outdoor store. Very cheap, very thin, very reflective. I knew people growing pharmaceutical crops in their basements in college who would use this instead of mylar at about 1% of the cost.

lol, yeah I spent hours looking for the stuff last night. I couldn't figure out what I should call it. I'll have to look around at some of the stores and see if they have any of those blankets.

but if anyone has any better ideas as to something that would last a little longer... do let me know..

Forgot you're in Flareeda. No camping stores, no need to protect from the cold!

you make a point that stuff probably wont be on shelves in the camping stores down here for many months now that it's getting into summer.

space blankets are a "safety" thing so you should be able to find them easy. Tin foil also works well when you're starting as it's even cheaper but it will fall apparent eventually.
    I own this joint!
