    Default  DIY Beauty Dish Finished

SB-24 in DIY Beauty Dish about 2 feet from the face - F/2.8 1/16th power.

I had the privilege of working with this highly sought after model.
He is very exclusive and a pain in the ass to work with.
Hopefully I will find a better model soon.

    I built this http://davidtejada.blogspot.com/2008...or-sb-800.html today.

Super simple and easy to make.

Nothing shows up, just an 'unavailable' flickr pic.

But I did check out your flickr and it looks like a cool shot. Sorry you had to deal with such a jerk!

Why, because the model isn't beautiful?

He doesn't want me to say what he charges.

I think the original is a bit hot in places. Once I find someone else to put in front of the camera I will be able to experiment with lighting ratios and placement.

No, I had the DIY Dish on a Nikon Sb-24 mounted to a light stand.

I need to get someone else in front of the camera.

this will do the trick, you will need an umbrella swivel though to mount the flash to the stand.

This is an awesome umbrella swivel, note the thumb screw on the cold shoe, generic swivels do not have that and without it your flash is prone to falling when tilting the swivel.
I have 3 of these and highly recommend them.

You can probably pick up a cheap stand there as well.
