it's not really a stretch to say that if you have rules for contests then you should stick by them. every time.

i think to be eligible for SOTM it should be 1) posted THAT MONTH (not posted CLOSE to that month, not TAKEN in that month and posted the month after), and 2) posted by the photographer who took the shot in one of the fora on this bbs.

it doesn't make any sense that i would be able to cull through someone's offsite photostream or portfolio, grab a pic, post that pic, and then nominate that pic by virtue of my earlier posting.

but that's just my take, and i don't own the place.
