As a side note, you should turn on long exposure noise reduction in your camera--it will help eliminate some of those hot pixels.

so the owner walks out of his house while im setting up my tripod with the camera pointed right at his house. Looks at me, then keeps walking to his car..... to kill the akwardness I say "is this ok?". He replies "your not the first one" its been in magazines. Car door shuts, and he drives away.

I swear this building is crooked! My tripod was dead nuts level!
