Shoot in AV.



Guidelines (just to keep us all on track)

* Photo(s) must relate to the Theme in some way. Creative relation to the theme is certainly allowed (and encouraged). Anything that is related in some way is legal.
* Assignment is open for 2 weeks.
* Only photos that have been shot within the assignment date range are allowed.
* No signup is required, participation is encouraged regardless of skill or equipment level (after all, its not the camera, it’s the photographer,)…we’re here to have fun.
* Photo size limit: 800px on the longest side
* Shot through the heart...
* Basically, photograph however you like and normally do…whatever photography is to you. As many (or few) bodies/lenses/formats//Post-processing as you’d like. Sticking to basic PP is encouraged, tho’.
* If you’d like, post brief but relevant photo information and note PP (if any) is done (*Free GIMP software*). Maintain EXIF data if possible.
* Keep comments on topic, constructive, and considerate.
* Have fun!

you can use AF, the assignment is just to shoot in Manual mode.

Can I walk around with my lens held in front of my eye and just say "click" ?

Sure why not. But then you have to MSPaint whatever you took a pic of.

No cheating by using auto-ISO in Manual mode, right?

55mm, f/2.8, 1/6sec, ISO 1000, handheld (wish I'd have bumped up iso just a bit to go faster shutter)

I almost always (99.9% of the time) shoot in Av mode, so I did my homework in manual, just because. I even used manual focus for this one...

Hrm, 90% of what I shoot is in AV or M. So not theme other than that?

I'm confused, are you supposed to shoot in Manual or Av?

AV, it was changed.

I have no idea what "AV" mode is... but I shot in Aperture Priority, since I thought maybe that's what you meant.



D300, lensbaby 2.0 w/ macro kit.

AV mode....... Efix is intact.

AV mode as well, exif intact.

I guess this will be my Av one.

What were the dates on this one? They seem to have gone missing and I may actually have something.
