Default  Well, I finally pulled the trigger...

It will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine.

Ben's first 2 pics posted from his roadtrip were enough to push me over the edge. So I logged into B&H without even a forethought and put the Canon 10-22 + lens shade in my basket and checked out before I had a chance to realize what was going on.

Let's see if B&H can get it here by Thurs morning before I head to the coast for a few days.

    T - 36 hours and counting....

    Shaddup you!

I know you and I have had this argument before, but my plan is to slowly fill out my lens collection, then purchase a 5D for my full frame and see where to go from there. For now, my brand new 10-22 and my lonely Rebel body will have to suffice. Damn you Ben and all your temptations!

Just giving you ****. Got a tracking # yet? It's a fantastic lens from what I've read. I've though about getting one for the XTi but since I have my UWA on the 5D why double up... I keep going back and forth as to weather or not I should even keep the XTi. It's my "work camera" so I can leave it here and not be lazy and w/o a camera and it's also working as a digital TC for me now. On out trip I used the 5D with the 24~70mm and 12~24mm then the XTi sat in the bag with the 70~200mm and 1.4 TC on it the entire trip. Worked pretty well, but my thought is I could sell it and get a 300mm f4... But the total kit weight/space would be the same that way so why not keep it as a high MP spare (the 1D will never be sold, but it's not a perfect spare being only 4mp and a battery hog...).

    Decisions Decisions...

Yeah I know. It's out for delivery now, I gotta hurry and get to work!

And I wish I had the tough problems of having to decide whether to leave the 1D at home or not!

For the price of that lens you could have that problem.
