Interesting selection. I know nothing about them but I'd be interested in the Tamron because it goes to 18mm.
Why are you interested in these instead of just getting a 75-300 to use with your 18-55?

Fair enough, I know other people who have done that.
I haven't got any experience with them but the Tamron has the focal length range that I would prefer.
Just be prepared for likely worse quality in the lens than if you used the 18-55 and a separate 75-300. Superzooms, unless very expensive, tend to suffer a bit (or a lot) in image quality. Also note that the Tamron and the Sigma that reach to 300mm have max apertures at the long end of 6.3 which is quite low. AF will likely be quite slow in all but the brightest conditions (assuming it even works).

plus think of the extra weight of that big hunk of glass.
sure any telephoto is gonna be hefty, but if you dont need the extra distance for certin shots, im sure it would be nice to not have the extra weight.
i know my 70-210 weighs about the same as my body, but it WAS made back in the 80's
