Default  EF lenses on film Rebel?

A friend just found his wife's 35mm Rebel and wants to start shooting on it. Will my EF lenses work on it when we're out shooting?

Yep. Only have to worry about EF-S lenses, which will either not mount or cause severe vignetting.

Cool, he'll be a happy little camper. I can turn him loose with the 20 1.8 and 50 1.4. Thanks, Sam.

I've used a 12-24 tokina on a film rebel with good results as well - so worth some experimentation if you have crop specific.

Yeah it's JUST the Ef-s lenses you have to be careful with as they can hit the mirrors. Non canon crop lenses seem to all mount and shoot fine, but vignette in cool ways. Your 20 and 50 will be perfect though Bobby, they were both great on my 5s.

Coolness, Ben. This friend is the guy who goes exploring with me. The 20 and 50 are exactly what I had in mind for him. And I'll run the 30 and 10-20.
