you can shave the lens hood off and make a spherical panorama in THREE shots using a fullframe sensor

so it's not a circular image? Those images aren't cropped at all?

    SICK!

I really liked my 8mm circular when I had it, but this would be 10x better.

diagonal means it covers the entire frame, across the diagonal. Circular means you get..... wait for it..... circular images.

Cool. This at least gives me an idea of what 8mm looks like. I'm wondering about the new Sigma 8mm.

    That's pretty rad.

Shots like these make me for sure wnat to keep a FE of some sort.

Anybody want to trade my 10mm sigma for a 15mm canon?

I'm placing my order this morning, and I noticed that Adorama has a ProOptic version of this lens for $289. I'm 99.999% sure this is the same lens as the Bower, but it's about $70 cheaper.

    70 bucks is 70 bucks!

They do. And if you look at the product pics you can clearly see that they are the same.

Ill have to check this out - i like my 10-17mm Fishy cause it works on both the cropper and the FF but i only REALLY use it on Fishy setting (10 on the crop, 17 of the FF) so this might be a way to recoup some $$ by selling it and buying a 50mm 1.4 and a this with the cash!
    hmmm
    NO lens communication Fail
I use my fishy at weddings with flash, and the flashy no like aperture 0.0 - dumps the flash and makes me life complicated. Oh well, Tokina stays in my bag. Just work harder to pay for a 50mm.
