    Default  Has anyone used this?

Or give any more explanation of when this would be of benefit to use? It says it screws on like a filter but what kind results does it specifically do? Macro?

I haven't used it, but it seems to be a basic magnifying glass so I'm wondering what kind of distortion it's going to cause toward the edges. The one review on B&H seems promising though. It could give you some fun shots, anything specific you are looking to use it for? Not sure I would consider it for true macro shots, for that purpose your best bet is extension tubes.

I know Sarah (JML on here) has used them to some pretty good results, I hope she manages to see this thread...

I've heard better things than you'd expect, but I'd recommend extension tubes for getting close if you can't afford a true macro lens right now.

That's what I was thinking and same, wasn't sure what results would come out of it. Yep, wanted to know if it would work like a macro lens.

I have that one and it's very good, probably one of the best I've seen optically anywhere near its price range. Distortion is very low.
