Default  Post your favorite 'kit lens' pictures!

What's your most convincing (or favorite) photo you've shot with your kit. (18-55)
Oh yeah, NO BASHING of the kit in this thread.. more like the unbashing of a very capable lens..

I'll start off i guess (not at my home comp w/ my files)
One of my first dslr pics:

It's not so sharp in this photo, but i like the colors.

It is an awesome lens. I honestly regret not getting a "kit" when I got the XTi so I could have this lens... It catches a lot of crap for what is usually the person behind it...

I guess you can generally associate the kit lens with newbies at photography, since it's what they (and me!) start out with, or just the kinda people who but it on idiot mode. (green box)

The kit lens was the widest lens I had at this point and I was very happy with these results:

    Wyn,
great shot, but I wish the tree wasn't there... It totally looks like you're on the wing while flying at first.

The 18-70 was an "upgrade" kit with the D70, but I still consider it a "kit" lens in that it is a mid-range zoom of decent, but not pro build quality. Still, it's reasonably fast and sharp.
