Default  That's it, I'm switching to Nikon!!!

    Kinda...
I'm looking at getting a Nikon 28mm PC (perspective control, the shift only, no tilt) lens. I can find one to try for $275. The Nikon to EOS adapters run ~$50 shipped. So for $325 I can have another shifting lens... I'm also curious to see how the whole Nikon MF glass on a canon works and figured this is a good place to start...

Anyone here know anything about this?
I'm also tempted to get some Olympus lenses, but that's another adapter, so for now I'm picking one of the 2. With the Oly I'd get a 50mm f/1.4 and and something in the 20s, but I already have a canon 50mm f/1.4, so this wouldn't be as new... Just funky fun...

    Anyone know anything?

I assume you'd have to manually focus with those adapters? Or do they have some fancy electronic adapters that still allow AF?

Just get a russian one, it's guaranteed to maybe work and you won't need an adapter!

Yes, it's MF only. Regardless of weather or not the lens is AF or not. The camera can meter though, but it can't set the aperture, so you need to use a lens that has an aperture ring so you can manually set it. With the electrical "AF" adapters, the camera will beep (and light up the green circle) when it's focused, but you do it yourself...

Because I've only found one dealer for them and they seem a bit shady... Also this would let me try lens adapters at the same time so I'd be trying 2 things I've wanted to do at the same time....
