    Default  ebay flash triggers question

So I got my Nissin di622 from the UPS man today and when i went to put it on my wireles trigger (flash put on slave mode) I hit the test button and just the red light on the trigger flashed but no flash itself. I have the trigger on the "w" setting. I put my 430ex on it and it works fine? Oh and the di622 works fine when its ON my camera. Any thoughts?

Actually, your issue is "normal" ... the nissin di622 doesn't work with ebay triggers. Its the way its designed.. I have the same issues. If you google it, you'll see a couple ways people have managed to add a capacitor into the trigger line. I'm not exactly sure technically why the design doesn't work with these wireless triggers, but thats just the way it happens to be. I didn't feel like hacking my di622 so I have 2 other flashes on wireless trigger and the di622 on optical slave. hope this solves a few fustrations.
