It's not really high on my 'to buy' list but I did bookmark it as a wishlist on amazon, just wondering if anyone has ever used something like this macro or portrait photography or think a setup like this is just an expensive waste.

I've seen a good deal of Playboy photo shoots in the past and their chief photographers both use these. Well, much bigger and more expensive versions.
