for my eclipse shot I just used a P&S at the screen replaying it from the DVR. Sure there are better ways, but I doubt many that are easier.

I was going to do something like that, or windows movie maker, but I don't even have the right DVD codecs on my work computer and don't have time to chase them down.

I asked for a copy of the show after they were done producing it, I've had it for a month or two but haven't had time to watch it yet. And the shots are of Willie I took during a concert last year: http://www.newschoolofphotography.co...t=freedom+fest
I had the chance to party with him on his bus but he looked so tired after his set that I left the partying to his close friends.

One of my bird shots that I took on vacation in Kerala, India last year has been selected for a Kerala photo exhibition in India!!

Details of last years exhibition in an Indian newspaper:
    http://www.hindu.com/mp/2009/01/05/s...0550840400.htm

Now, all I need to do is arrange for someone to pick up the photo after the exhibition, since I won't be able to attend

So I've been meaning to post here and join the ranks of those who have been published. Whilst on my road trip this summer, I got a call from Wildlife in North Carolina Magazine about them wanting to use a shot in their magazine that I had submitted to their photo contest. That kinda made my day/week/trip! I wasn't sure if they were gonna do it since I couldn't send a higher res version, but when I got back, I got a copy of the August issue and sure enough, there it was!!

Anyone who has a copy of the August 2010 issue of the magazine, look on the inside of the back cover

The text says " 'Come forth into the light of things, let nature be your teacher.' -William Wordsworth". It's something they chose to put on there.

I had submitted a few of my shots to the Vermont Institute of Natural Science's (VINS) photo contest. They had 4 categories - "Action", "Personality", "Black and White" and "Color". I was just notified that I was the winner in 3 (Action, B&W and Personality) out of the 4 categories!! These images will be featured in their next electronic newsletter and will also be used on their website.

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/vins_fl...7624769289804/

The prize package includes a membership to VINS, a gold VINS ornament, a special engagement to participate in the release of one of the avian wildlife patients and a behind the scenes tour of the facility.

I'm very excited to say that I have been published for the very first time.

A girl representing a French website got in contact with me on flickr and after corresponding and signing a contract, they went ahead and published this photo:
