I think I might have a lead on getting some of my photos (and website) posted on a fan page for the Great Smoky Mountains, they've got ~33,000 fans. A posted picture gets ~500 "Likes" and ~200 comments. Might be some good exposure.

Yeah, it looks like it'll be a deal where I send the person who runs it a photo every few weeks to post. Hoping it'll generate ~100 hits or so per post to my site.

Yeah, I'm just basing that off the number that "like" the photo, figure 1 in 5 or 6 will click through to a site. But yeah, hopefully, it's a good deal more than that. We'll see when she uses the first one! I'm pretty excited. Free advertising FTW.

Sort of.
Either way, I want THEM to post my photo because then it goes on the wall everyone sees and doesn't get bumped. Most "fan posted" photos get maybe ~1 comment and ~1 like. The photos posted on the MAIN page get ~200 comments and ~500 likes. Major difference in exposure.A recent MEDIOCRE landscape got ~800 likes.

I did it, somehow I got a random fan that is in no way connected to my friends list, and I don't think she's on this board.. wahoo. It starts with 1 and then the waves of people flow in!
