That's all I got so far. How do you guys set it up to get more people? Have you gotten any traffic/sales because of it? Let's make this thread a tips/tricks/sharing ideas for these things. Mine sucks, but I think it's okay enough for now.

I get traffic AND sales from it I pimp it out a lot and use it to upload wedding pics which get tagged by friends and fam soooo that kinda explains why I get so much. For you, I'm not sure but it's DEFINITELY worth a try!

it depends on who your friends are... I've got zero sales from mine, but half of my friends are you *******s.

You can suggest it to all your friends.

Pretty much all my fans are either friends or friends of friends. I also post a link to it with every image I put on flickr and it's on my website.

Okay, I got it now. I see what QJ was trying to say. The http:// is the key... I'd tried HTML link stuff, and tried just typing it, and tried bracketing it with [url].

go to ads and pages then click "edit page" then look toward the middle right and under "promote your page" click promote with a fan box

Here you can create a snippet of code to include your fan page on your blog. Look here, you can see I added it to the sidebar http://dailyduluthphoto.com

Hint, when you paste it into a new text box widget, change the "300" to whatever your sidebar width is so it fits in the bounding boxes. In my case it was 185

Just another way to get people involved.

I have been posting a link back to my http://dailyduluthphoto.com site on Twitter, My personal Facebook page and Daily Duluth Photo's facebook page every day and am getting over 200 visitors a day to the website and it has only been live for 12 days.
I have also got 238 fans in those 12 days so I know it is helping.

Do you mean you post up a link everyday when a new photo goes up? I REALLY need to figure out a way to drive more traffic to my website. It's pathetic how few hits I receive.

Holy ****. DDP hit 320 FB fans today. I posted that I wanted to hit 100 by Friday. Amazing.

160 was my magic number, since then, I've gotten 1 or 2 fans every few days
