    Default  Possible Job I got

The business: Chronic Reefer. The sell aquarium stuff

They want: pictures of fish, products, and their business for ad brochures, flyers, their website, etc.

I'm going to have to figure out exactly what they want, and how much of it they are going to want to print. It could be a pain, But it could bring me a lot of money.

Thanks to my friend Spencer, who will be doing their design. Its good to have a friend in graphic design, because they will need pictures fairly often.

Good luck, aquarium photography is pretty difficult, I'd assume.

I just remember being at an aquarium a couple years ago and just absolutely struggling with shutter speeds (flash just caused glare).

Yeah the shutter speed sucks..to fast too dark too slow host fish haha. I have 2 bettas, 2 dwarf gurami's, 5 or 6 neon tetras, and 5 or 6 green fire tetras.

Markitos took a pretty awesome shot of a lion fish recently. It came out pretty clear. You should ask him....I'd be curious to see some of the other fish shots he got too from the aquarium.

The ones I posted were the only ones that came out well... it's VERY difficult.

My recommendation would be--fast primes/high ISO and nail the exposure. Shoot in RAW because WB is tricky, too.

I think you would really need f/1.8 minimum. Mine were shot at f/2.8, but the shutter speeds were slow--I had to get slow-moving fish for the most part.

Yeah, pretty much what I was getting at. All mine from that trip were shot at f/1.8 and ISO 1600 and they were STILL to slow of shutter speeds.
