Default  Setting up a Portrait Pricing Structure - help

I have been asked by a friend of a friend that just had a baby to come down and take some pictures.
I will have to drive 2 hours there and 2 hours back.

My friend's cousin is a photog near the cities (where the customer lives) and this is what he charges for a baby shoot

To go out to the customer's house and shoot, he charges $100 plus tax.
$10 per image for each Low res-web image or $50 for a CD of all posted session images.
He then charges $20 per full rez .jpg on CD with full rights or $200 for a CD of all posted Session Images with full rights
He also charges extra if they want to buy Prints from him of course.

Does this sound fair? I need to give these customers a price structure before I commit.

    Any help would be great.

sounds about right but I have no clue really....

If they bought the web disk for $50 then wanted the full rez later, would it be $150 then?

For driving 2 hours, $100 for the session seems low to me. Also, how long will you be there? If you figure a minimum of $50/hr, then you are looking at ~$300 for a 2 hour session, including driving time. I'm not saying you should charge that much, but that's a way to look at it.

I'd say at least $200 plus the CD pricing....

    Thanks Mark,
When I drive down to the Minneapolis area I stay for the weekend at friend's houses, so It turns into a mini vacation for me.
Right now I am a single guy who has time on his hands and needs the experience. I would probably be there for no more than an hour.
Plus, a few of their friends are prego or just had kids so the referrals could be nice!
It is hard to go over $100 higher than the local guy.
Right now, I think It is worth my time to make a couple hundred bucks for a few hours of my time.

thanks for the response it gives me a lot to think about.

Good question Ben, that sounds reasonable, however they are getting twice the files and had the chance to buy the full rez cd up front. But yeah, probably because at that point everything is edited and ready to burn.
