I thought I'd start an official thread for SnoDrift here since it seems at least 3 of us are already going to be there. speak up if you're going to be there, when you'll be there, and in what capacity!

I'll be there crewing for a friend, but I'm going to try to make it to a few stages, as we roll in there with a gigantic group capable of supporting our competitor friend in shifts. We're showing up sometime Thursday the 29th and I'm staying at a place right by the high school in Atlanta, departing Sunday.

We'll be there Wed-Sun. I think we're running recce, probably in my 02 WRX. We're racing Chad's 88 VW GTI, its yellow. I'm pretty certain we're still looking for some crew help if anybody wants to give us a hand.

You can see recent junk from our team on www.step2racing.com and I'm considering twittering in updates throughout the rally for all of our fans back home.

nate49509 and I will be there Th-Sat and will probably be working it again as we did this year. We ought to all meet up at some point for dinner

Jay, I can help out if you need it. I have worked on VW's (~10 years) and Subies (~6 years)

Damon, do you prefer to crew or work? I can see if Chad has other people lined up first and keep you as a last chance if you'd like.

We'd love the help though if crewing is your thing. You'll get to drive a sweet chevy van too!

Like Damon said we'll be there. We should have a rather large group of us coming up from Grand Rapids. Staying in Gaylord if anyone wants to meet up with us for dinner and drinks Friday night after the rally.

So they're using one of my shots from last year for the cover of the spectators guide and they asked if I wanted to be a official Sno*Drift photographer.

That's what this guy from the Sno*Drift committee was saying. But, Rally America lets the Sno*Drift committee pick two official event photographers. I'm pretty psyched.

So what are the details? Do you know anything about it yet? What about me stringing along with you, etc? This definitely makes the event a lot more interesting
