was thinking about trying to do a NC meet. i know there are a whole lot of us here so let's get something together!

i don't know very many places to go as i'm relatively new here but what about the ashboro zoo?

thoughts? ideas? what's a good date for people?

so we're into march already. shall we start figuring out a date that would work?

how about march 28th or april 4th? both are saturdays.

Yes, the earlier the better, so that you have more time to catch the animals when they're active.

Hanna and I will be in Charleston and Savannah with some friends from April 13-20th, but are pretty much available other than that. Oh, and we can't go on weekends generally, which probably excludes us from being able to do anything.

I was originally thinking we'd be able to take a Saturday or Sunday off to go to the zoo with some NSOPers, but we've already got a good bit of time off planned, so that's probably not going to happen.

Zoo opens at 9. We got there last year and were the first people in the park. SO nice to walk around without tons of people in the way.

Sundays tend to be less crowded too, if that's easier to work into anybody's schedule.

I can't do April 4th, rock climbing trip that weekend.

I would be down to go at some point though.

Yeah, I might be a maybe as well. I've got a report due on that Monday, plus things I haven't been assigned yet that I'm sure I'll have, but I'll be a maybe for now.

Finals for me aren't til the end of April. I'd have to check what kind of projects I've got due around then. Part of my problem is that I don't know about most of the stuff I have to do until a week or two before it's due.

I'll be busy photographing kiddies doing an Easter egg hunt on the 11th. I think the times are looking like from about 10-2pm. Since that time is gonna be gone, it's likely I'll be stuck doing homework the rest of the time. I hate engineering....

Okay, so I fail at updating in a timely manner. I'm shooting to leave Raleigh around 9am tomorrow, putting me at the Gardens around 9:30. I'll probably be joined by a friend from State. So, if anyone is up for a last minute shindig, holla. I'll check here before I leave tomorrow.

I could be convinced to drive up. Charlotte is 2 hours away. If you want to do something in the Raleigh area, I have friends up there that I'd love to visit.
