Boobies - a couple of extension cords, I have a couple of light stands and a small boom.

Sorry guys just got back from LA this momrning from a wedding... I "thought" everyone has the internet in LA, but believe it or not the people we stayed with do not! ugh... not too mention it was frantic the whole time away.

I am checking teh flights right now and will get back. The storms over the weekend have me VERY nervous! Em and I had to fly Virgin to get back cause one JB flight was cancelled and the other was totally full because of it...

That's the big roller bag I have.. that's 3 lightstands, AB800 and a 24x36" foldable softbox.. see if I can snag another shot with my gear bag in there..

So long as one of the sides isnt any higher than a normal carry on suitcase you wont have any trouble fitting it in the over head bin. If we have to go on the smaller plane it can get tight on thicker stuff.

Yea I'm not bringing that, because the Texans have said they can provide light stands.. so I will have much smaller bags.. like backpack size.

I just got confirmation on the stuff provided at the studio. We will have plenty of lights and stands to go around for the indoor work. If we do anything outdoor with lights it will have to be speedlights or the AB's. with the stands i am bringing and other locals have we will be just fine.

we will be able to do some really awesome light set-ups so be ready to make some cool ****.

Geoff, you had better have some ideas for multi light things you want to try. i'm talking 4 and five light setups cause we will have plenty to do it.

Oh you bitch, I just did a 4 light setup self portrait last week.. why you gotta leg hump Geoff?

Anyway, that's awesome.. I'm sure we will get some cool ****, I forgot to say I'm bringing my DIY grid/snoot combo with my assortment of gels.. so we will be able to snoot and grid a speedlight, or snoot/grid two speedlights for a splash of color..

I have the GF1 and 5Dii.... I'm not sure which I'll bring though, but yeah, there will be at least SOME video. The 5Dii just EATS card space though... Plus it's a lot bigger to carry with my D700....

just bring the GF1, that and the DVD cam will easily cover our bases. I'll get some mini DVD-RWs for the dvd cam so i can hand them off to Eric when we are done so he can make a cool video.
