Anyone up for a meet in the catskills sometime this summer? there's some beautiful scenery around the region.

If I can I'd be down. Catskills or the Adirondacks. Nikki and Elias would come with and set my schedule.

the adirondacks would be awesome, esp. as I have lodging already (thanks mom and dad). i could see if they would let me use the house for a weekend if you all wanted to come up. there's plenty of room, beds for a ton of people, and it would be cheap (just pay for gas/food). it's right in the heart of the central adirondacks (speculator, ny). If it's before school lets out for the summer, no problem with us going up for a weekend.

I didn't see that post. I doubt it would work for Me and Nikki (and Elias), but I'm still down for meeting up with everyone. We'd just probably get a motel so we could have a quiet room for the night. I'm totally down for this, but if I do it we'll most likely ALSO go to Lake Placid and Westport since that's where I used to live.

Id be down for this at somepoint over the summer.

Hmmmm sounds compelling... i'd probably be up some something eric. (i'd have to run it by K though) Any dates set in stone?

nope no dates yet. during the summer (july-august) is tough, but after or before that should be good.

ben we've got a huge room with a king sized bed, couch, etc. over the end of the house w/out any bedrooms under. the walls are very well insulated. no need to find a hotel. lake placid is a hour and a half from our place. actually, pretty much everything is about an hour and a half away. except for beautiful scenery, mountains, lakes, and bars.

any thoughts on when this might be? could be tempted depending on the when part. i could definitely use a vacation...

maybe mid june. if not then, late august - october. something like that.

I really would like to do Watkins Glen this summer (not the track)!. So Finger Lakes region would also be a nice meet region also, not to threadjack. And according to the map, Watkins is in the Catskills.
