Been kicking this idea around in my head for a while, and the right time has presented itself. Anyway my wife will be back in MN that weekend for sister's graduation, with my daughter. I would like to do a meet at Ayer's Gap/Bailey's Ravine on the 7th of June 2008. It is a Saturday. For those not familiar with the area, it is managed by the Nature Conservancy. It is an 80 acre wilderness area in Franklin, CT. It boasts about 10 cascades and small waterfalls. Many of them are very photogenic. I will warn that it is kinda of rugged. So wear comfortable clothes, shoes that you can hike in. There is a flashed trail through the area, but the waterfalls are off the trail, and is pretty hilly terrain. If anyone here has been to Sage's Ravine on the AT on the MA, CT line, it will remind you of that. Also bring a tripod. Spouses and kids are of course welcome, but tell them to be prepared for to hike.
It will be my 4th time back there. I would like to meet afternoon sometime around 5pm I guess. That will give us time to get there and set up before the sun goes away. I live about 15 minutes from there. I guess we could all meet at my place, and then car pool there to save gas.
I will post directions and addresses as the date approaches.
Here are some of my shots from there and a link to a page about it.

Stepstone falls in RI is also an option if we all want to make a day of it. I have more shots to get there also.

So let me know when you guys want to meet, I suggest late afternoon. 5-6PM, maybe later judging on sunset time. By then it should be 8:10 PM or so?? Let me know if you can come.
