The other ben and I will be attending.. I'll be on the track with a media pass, and likely he will be too as soon as I hear back from the organizer. I don't know if I can pull more strings for anyone else but I guarantee no shortage of photo opportunities and that you will have a good time. Their weeknight practice sessions are exciting and that's just their low tier guys learning the ropes. This event is going to be better than Formula D was, count on it.

Clubloose is a local drifting group who has been running clinics and events at e-town for years now. Their top tier drivers drive are the real deal and are definitely skilled enough to put on a hell of a performance. Many west coast drivers are making the trip for this event as well. It is going to be held on the new ROAD COURSE, not some parking lot.

If you're around here and are into cars at all, this ought to be worth the trip. Only $15 for spectators.

54+ confirmed drivers as of last night

Well the other ben ended up not coming because the organizers wouldn't give him a pass (which is retarded because there were a number of guys they issued passes to with no photography knowledge whatsoever..) but this was pretty awesome regardless..

Shot for 12 hours today.. nearly 50 gigs of photos.. only stopped there because I killed my laptop battery from transfers.. killed 3 batteries for the 40D and 2 for the XTi.. also went through a set of AAs on the flash.


By the end of the day their A group was running 7 cars in tandem drifts


I cannot even begin to convey the # of tires that were all over the effin place too
