i'd love to join but i won't know until early october sometime. if i was to go, i wouldn't arrive until friday evening. thirteen hour drive for me...

I'm gonna' chat up my woman in the morning to double check with her but I would still like to go...

Just asked "the boss" and got "that would be fun, I've never been there!!!". So that's not a committed yes yet, but that means pencil us in and we'll see how every things going then. We just have to figure out if Friday afternoon/evening works for us or if we'll come Saturday.

Let me run this by my wife. I was up there once already this summer to climb Marcy, but maybe my wife could be down for this in Oct.

^ who knows, Ben the babies might get along pretty well.

Ben are you going to camp in tent with Elias? My wife is not sure she wants to do it yet.

pretty much yeah. it's really not too bad. from your place it's probably 5 hours. how tired would Nikki be from that drive? just watch out for deer/moose/etc

The issue is she's got a work thing in Boston Friday afternoon. So we'll see when she'll get home (she's going there Thursday too) and see, but if we can't drive up Friday night, I doubt we'll be able to make it.

Nikki's super bummed. She was actually very excited for this because she's never been to the adirondacks, and it was going to be our first road trip with Elias. She's still considering coming up if we can do Friday night, but that will all depend on when she gets back from Boston on Friday.
