it's here!
pics:
note the weird buckle:
that's 2x77mm filters and 1x3 stop GND x-pro filter in the lid:
loaded with a 24-70 on camera, 70-300 on one side, 14-24 on the other, flaps in. Notice the TT pixel pocket on the left (memory card wallet in the cell phone holder pocket, AWESOME!). The camera isn't flat here but COULD be, the hood hangs up on the lower velcro a bit:
same from above, flaps out. You can see my X-pro holder in the front pouch on the left and canon s90 on the right:
flaps in:
this is the 24-70 on the D700 with the hood in use. This is a ~10" combo and it's ~1" shot of perfect. The top WILL close, it's just not flat:
same as above (it's basically high by the width of the RRS L-bracket):
L-R, 70-300, 24-70, 14-24, all with hoods on, all reversed except the 14-24's (it's permanent):
size comparison (boda, musto navigator bag w/tenba insert, tamrac):
also note, all these shots were taken with the 5Dii and 35mm IN MANUAL FOCUS and with the aperture LOCKED at f/2... So not as much DOF as I'd normally use for product shots, especially when my focus was off.
As for the bag, it looks to be about perfect for what I wanted. it's a tad tight now (maybe it'll stretch a bit?) with those massive hoods, but I wanted as small a bag as would fit these 3 lenses and my filters (my landscape kit) and this works. The front buckle's weird shape make it a bit less than ideal, but I'm sure I'll get used to it (you have to work to line it up perfect to make it work).
In three months I'll know if I really like it though.

Plus, All my other bags right now are black with red accents (just not this much) AND it IS the forum's color scheme after all!
