Icon Question  Gadget Infinity wireless shutter release

I've been looking around at remotes for my camera and came across these... I know it's a uber cheap ebay brand but it seems to get pretty good reviews. I mean it's not like it's a sophisticated piece of electronics... Has anyone here ever used one? Heard anything good or bad about them? I have read they don't work 100% but the reviews I've read say that for the $30 the rare times they don't work it's not a big deal.

    Any reviews??

not me, but I'd love a cheap wireless trigger that won't break in a week.

I've got a set as I was goofing around learning some studio stuff - I normally shoot 100% natural light outside - but hey - it rains a lot in the PNW

They work just fine - although I've had the odd missfire - if you do a lot of studio work the pocket wizards are the answer - but these are just fine for people who are just goofing around.

For the price they can't be beaten.

I bought 3 Gadget Infinity V2s receivers and a transmitter. Never had a non or mis fire.

    Oooooops wrong thing.

I bought cheapie shutter releases before and they never lasted. I finally picked up a genuine Pentax release and haven't had a problem yet.
