    Default  Batch slide scanners?

Anyone know of 35mm slide scanners that can do batches? Either as sold or with an extra attachment? My wife's boss said if I found him one, he'd buy it buy I can use it provided I help set it up for him. He has a bunch of slides he needs scanned for his site.

Here are the only options I found @ B&H:
    $799, 50 slide batches, 3600dpi

    $289, 4 slide batches, 7200dpi

the second scanner is cheaper and has better resolution, but only does 4 slide batches... I need something that can do ~20+ per batch so it's a drop them on it, walk away and come back to a bunch of files ordeal... Then I'll be tasked with writing an action to handle the PP...

The other option I was considering is a slide copying tube with a T-mount. They're ~$100 with the T mount for a specific body, but that's one at a time too.... Faster than a scanner (on my 5D at least) but it would be a pita to do them one at a time and I'd have to do his for him....
    I own this joint!

the scanners will beat your 5D in terms of resolution. At 4000ppi a scan of 35mm film yields a file equivalent to about 24 megapixels.

I haven't had experience with either of those but my knowledge of them from years past is they generally aren't the best in terms of image quality.

    yeah, the 5D is roughly 3000dpi at 36mm x 24mm.
