Default  .:Domke Bug Bag 20 Review:.

    Just got this bag
    http://www.adorama.com/DMBB20L.html

Its a bargin $20 right now + shipping.

There isn't a much info on the web on these so...

    Here's what it looks like

    Somewhat larger than I expected.

Here's the compartment. The deviders are a stiff foam with velcro to hold it together. You cut down the inserts to fit what you want to carry. The whole thing is covered in the fuzzy side so you can position anywhere. I adjusted for my k10d and got a nice solid level fit resting on 3 edges around the lens with a little trimming. Perfect fit. The depth is considerably deeper than the kit lens. The small section in front of the DSLR holds the charger with plenty of room for a large tele-zoom on the right and a flash and smaller lens on the left. You may want to eventually buy more deviders depending on your load.

The front of the case has a pocket, nothing special here.

The top of the case has two elastic straps to hold a tripod.

The strap clasps were notably nice in that they have a metal gate and spring instead of the simple plastic ones that will fail after much use.

Overall I'm thrilled for $20. Its 50% off normal at the moment.

Thanks, is there any way you can post a pic of it loaded up to see what'll fit?

Thanks for the great pictures! I just ordered this setup and it's in transit now. I'm excited to set it up with my XTi, 18-55 kit, 75-300 kit & 50mm 1.8 and other misc stuff.

I just ordered the Bug Bag 30. The 20 appears to be gone from the site now. As a bonus, I could get the 30 in black, it's slightly larger, and it was only $25. It should be perfect for a body, a couple small lenses, and a flash.

Thanks for the review, as I would have never looked at this bag if I didn't read this.
