I have read up on the Daryl Benson Reverse ND.
I feel dumb because I am not comprehending it.

Does anyone know how it differs from a standard grad ND?

Yeah a reverse ND is pretty much as that page described so I guess you have your answer!

I have to admit I wouldn't mind having one for sunsets or sunrises.

Yeah, I've considered one and probably will pick one up someday. We'll see.

I sent an email to HiTech today asking if they planned to make one.

even a strip filter would be usefull.

Nice, the strip filter would be a waste of money in my opinion, but the reverse ND wouldn't be a bad deal.
