    Would it work on a DSLR though? The one I have will eventually fry my camera...or so I've heard.

    do you already own these? or are you buying them because they are available and cheap?

    I'd just spring a few benjamins for a speedlite 430EX

    Look for a new 430ex boobs or a used 550ex or 580ex.

    looks like it only supports a-ttl metering, not the newer e-ttl, which is what all the digitals use. e-ttl is what you want to use.
