Default  School me on Grad ND filters

Well since my main passion is landscape photography I am looking at getting a graduated Neutral Density filter. Where is the best online place to get one and which should I get? I have been looking a 2filter.com but that site sucks. Plus they never have anything in stock.
    Show me the way.

2filter is a great place really, other than the 'not in stock' thing. Call them and if it isn't a rush they're super helpful and really good at helping with issues.

There are threads here on what to get, but you'd have to search to find them. Try that, but basically, go for 2 and 3 stop hard and soft lines, you'll be set then.

Which specific size to get depends on your lenses you'll use and their focal lengths (and whether your body is crop or not).

So far I've only used my hard lines, haven't used soft yet. I'm not sure which is more useful overall, but for me its been the hards.

I have the Olympus e-510 with the 2 kit lenses. I would need the 58mm size. The 2filter site is rather hard to navigate as it does not seem to give much info unless I am just a retard. I was looking at the soft lines and have not even thought of the hard line. Why would you want the hard one? I already have a x4 Neutral density filter and want the graduated plus a x8 regular one. Does that sound like a good combo?

My advice is to go with the Cokin filter holders and filters, so that if/when you change lens diameters, you don't have to go out and replace all of your filters - just the filter adapter ring. IIRC, Cokin just makes two different series for different lens sizes (I don't remember offhand what the cut-off is between the two series).

There are actuall a few different sizes.

I went with z-pro's which are 4x6" and work with my sigma 10-20mm. You just need to figure out your widest lens and then research if it'll work with whatever size you want to buy.

I've got a cokin holder and hitech filters.

Just ordered 2-stop soft and 2-stop hard filters with holder from 2filter... I'll use those as a jumping off point to see if I need any others.
