I've got thin gloves, thick gloves, all kinds of gloves but when I'm out shooting, they're always a pain in the ass and my hands still get cold.

Well, I decided to pick up a pair of these...

...and they are awesome, and they only cost $10. I never realized mitten/glove hybrids like this even existed, but its a damn good idea. Just a heads up if you're tired of being out shooting and not being able to mess with controls without taking off your gloves.

I was just talking yesterday about how I was looking for the "right" gloves for use when taking photographs. Those glove-mittens look good and if what Jacobsen posted ever was sold in just black I'd probably get a pair.

Yeah, I'm obviously pretty pumped about the ones I posted... I've had the freezing hands problem for a while and I figure the less comfortable I am, the less I can focus on my shots.

Meh, a sharpie will make them all black if it's that important...

My issue is I have very large hands. Usually XL gloves are too small, so ordering online is tough. Combine that with my apishly long arms and I need a good closure at the wrist to my jacket cuff has something to "grab onto" to avoid it from sliding up... This is much more of a skiing issue than shooting though. I spend a ton of time outside, but usually shoot bare handed and deal with it, but my hands are pretty warm most of the time. Those photog gloves are perfect though (or at least look it online) so I'll be ordering a pair when I can find them online. I hate wool...

you only get your index finger out... but if that's all you need, or you want something warmer anyway, it is ALL BLACK!!!

I prefer all black myself, but black/gray is close enough for me. Hopefully some local shops will get those in. I might order both and return the ones I don't like.

no idea and that's bugging me too... But guesstimating from what ski gloves cost and what they're made with I'd bet <$50... I'm hoping that's the case, but who knows...

I'm glad I live somewhere that allows me to say I've never owned a pair of gloves.

I love snow, and I love the water. I use gloves for both.

Agreed. I hate hot weather... and thats just NC mountains hot, not actually hot...

i only use gloves when getting dirty or resetting the freezers at work.

Those might be snazzy but I LOVE my $10 gloves. They work perfectly.

Yeah I may get something like what you have too... but I wanted real glovey gloves rather than mittens when I pull the covers over.

Fixed the link, sorry about that.

I bought what I thought was the original one posted, they showed that picture on the evogear website. I'm happy that it came out more "toned down" than the crazier looking style indicated in the pictures.

And ben, yes mine showed up. I screwed up the link, if you try it now you'll see I mentioned the same thing. DHL failed to deliver yesterday but came through today.

I backed my db up before doing it. Although I'd probably **** myself while trying to figure out how to restore it, then do it and realize it isn't that hard.

So did you have to restore it, or was that a precaution?
