So, we seem to have a really good start so far in January. Who's got 100% shot at least, and who's going for the whole year this year?

I'm working on it... few days behind, but should have at least something for everyday. My goal is to make it thru the year, but frankly I'll be surprised if I last the month!

yeah, for those of you that are new to this, don't worry about uploading on time. I'm always a week behind. Plus, with the new organization in here now you don't wreck the thread order by posting a ton at a time. Just try to finish the previous month by around the 15th of the next month. I just hate doing the tally then having someone come and add all their shots the next day. So I try to wait it out.

Yes, yes, I know. I've had it 1 month and it already has over 2000 clicks!!! Trust me, it's being used... Now if I just had time to process them all and put their fancy little borders on and upload then post...

Work is insane! I have sooooo many I want to get in here, but my job and that dang kid just keep wanting me to do things for them. When are you going to win the lottery Bill so none of us have to work anymore?

I'm buying hard every 6 months or so portable for editing that I take with me everywhere and an external that backs them up and holds the pics I don't process until i can get them burned to DVD.

I had to use my P&S (Canon g9) today since the battery in my Rebel XTi ran out of power. I forgot until later that they both use the same battery and I could have swapped them out. I hope to keep up with the POD.

I got off to a late start (January 20th), and I think I lasted about a week. I'm trying to shoot on a more regular basis, but I'm finding it to be pretty hard to come up with something interesting to shoot everyday, and then do the required setup and takedown (yay apartment with no room to leave stuff set up). I kinda forgot to take a shot on Day 3 or so, so I wound up taking a picture of my clock at 11:59pm. Given the choice between wasting my time firing off a random shot of whatever around my apartment, versus taking the time to set up decent lighting and then shooting a few different objects, I'd rather skip a couple days and then shoot a bunch of good stuff, rather than shoot crap every day.

Whew Hoo!!!! I made it the month! I seriously didn't think I was going to last. I know some of the pictures are crap, but I did it and overall, I'm pretty happy with the majority of the shots. in just a month, I've actually learned some new stuff too!!!

I woke up in a panic this morning! I fell asleep early on the couch last night and at some point during the night stumbled into bed. However sometime around 4:30am or so I woke up and my first thought was "Oh ****!!!! I forgot to take a PAD yesterday!" I couldn't go back to sleep until I remembered that I took some pictures for work at some point during the day.

This is not cool... I have enough stress in my life!! Now I'm losing sleep over PAD??? Oy vey, it's gonna be a rough year!

yeah, for me it's second nature now to pack up the camera when I go to work, and pull it out when I get home. On weekends it's out on the desk at all times, always ready to go. Makes it easy.

Yeah, my camera is with me everywhere I go!

I had dinner at my sister's house last night.
I carried in my backpack and my camera bag.

Camera comes to work with me everyday - I'm usually too effing busy to use it here though. And other than the glowing edges picture, there is not much of inspiration.

Just thought it funny that I freaked upon waking up!
