    Default  Photoshop Elements 2.0

I'm currently using Elements 2.0 as my photo editing software. The functions I use are the Hue/Saturation, Brightness/Contrast, Image Resizing and occasionally a couple of filters.
I'd like to start processing RAW images also.
Am I out of date? Do I need to get new software?

    YES.

Really, though, it depends... I try to get as much as possible right in camera so I don't need $$ software to process the images. That said, I find some of the automating features of Photoshop and later versions of Elements to be very useful.

I've never used Elements myself.. Most of us use CS1/2/3 and Lightroom..

I personally use CS1 and love it... I pretty much can adjust anything with it that I'll ever need.... and add just about any kind of effect to my pics.

I haven't used Lightroom either but someone posted up that it has no more features than PS

Elements 4 and up is a great tool, can cover all your basic PP needs and not over complicate things.

If your frustrated with Elements, CS2/ CS3 is a whole new ball game in terms of confusion and frustration.
