Default  Selecting Highlights and Shadows in Photoshop

I use CS2. I know there's a quick keyboard command to select highlights and one for shadows, anyone know what that is? Or a better way?

I don't really need it for anything, I could just see it being helpful at times.

Not sure of a default shortcut for shadow/highlights, but you could probably set one up easily enough under Edit/Keyboard Shortcuts, or alt+shift+ctrl+k to get there.

Yeah, I'm not sure what I'm even asking, I just know I saw something in a book or something once about selecting or maybe just seeing all the highlights/shadows....

Oh I misunderstood, I thought you meant for the shadow/highlight adjustment.
