My first attempt at selective coloring. Wow! Once I get it down this could be awesome!

    Critiques welcome too....

Good job...its funny at first it almost doesn't look like a selective color but just a black vette.

Nice job. Never been a big fan of selective coloring but it works pretty well here and you pulled off the actual conversion/technique nicely. MUCH better than anything I could have done.

For the first time, no it wasn't easy. I'm sure it will get easier. I have lots of ideas on how I want to use this. This was a crappy first try, but I'll get better with repetition.

Bee, I use GIMP, not Adobe PS. I did the tutorial. I'm sure there's one for Adobe PS. I have the link at work if you want it.

Is there a tutorial somewhere to do selective coloring in PS CS2 or ACR?

I've always done it the long and tedious way but cutting out, and making separate layers. I'm a n00b who's still learning PS.

Just looking for an easier way. Thanks.

that's a great place to start with PP techniques, there's all kinds of selective coloring tuts out there but that site has the best.
