Default  Doing "multiple exposures" in Photoshop

Second question for tonight: how do I combine multiple images (in this case, a series of shots of someone on a swing) into a single "multiple exposure" type image (without the ghosting, though)? My first thought would be to just cut-and-paste the only changing element from each shot into the unchanging background, but it seems like there should be a much better way.

I also tried just cut-and-pasting each image on top of each other, then playing with the transparency, but that doesn't quite produce the desired effect when there are more than two images, either.

Someone want to lead me through the process?

EDIT - Whoops, this might in the wrong sub-forum. Mods, feel free to move to PP requests.

^ you are going to want to set your camera on a tripod. Take a shot without anyone in the image for a template, then take multiple images on the swing. Once in PS, use layers. I believe there is a tutorial on how to do that here.
